As a general rule, a man who is interested in you is someone who is interested in who you are as a person and not in what you can do for him. This becomes evident over a long-term relationship. When you are in the early stage of dating, however, your man may not be as obvious about his intentions, making you wonder if there’s something worth working on here or if you’re just wasting your time.
But then, there are those not-so-obvious (read: he doesn’t know he’s giving himself away) clues you need to watch out for to know for sure that your date is truly interested.
He’s definitely interested if:
1. He’s nervous around you.
Men manifests nervousness in different ways but you can tell right off if he’s a bit awkward with you when you compare how he is with other people. Some guys are fidgety, they jump subjects or they can’t keep their thoughts together when talking with you while some men just keep really, really quiet.
2. He compliments you regularly.
He may not compliment you on the usual things (which would be obvious) but he finds ways to say something good about you. Sometimes it can get very awkward, with you thinking “he noticed that?!”.
3. He’s very conscious about his hygiene.
You see him improving his looks overtime, probably hitting the gym and buying better looking clothes.
4. He teases you.
Teasing you is his way of flirting with you. By teasing you, he subconsciously tries to get your attention in any way he can.
5. He makes it easy for you to get in touch with him.
He gives you not just his mobile number but his home and office numbers as well. The message here is that he wants to make it convenient for you to get ahold of him whenever you need to.
6. He will do things that are of no benefit to him.
And this is the biggest sign of all. He’ll do things that he knows you’d appreciate simply because it pleases you; he doesn’t expect anything in return at all.
